Phill is your man

My Grandson and I booked a fishing trip with Phill Harley during my
last visit to Antigua. We had a great time. Phill knows the waters
and best fishing areas in Antigua like the back of his hand. He is a
walking encyclopedia of fishing. He knows what kinds of fish are in
each location, where they are and how to fish for them. His equipment
and tackle are 1st class. If you like Fly Fishing in the flats or
light spinning tackle on the many reefs, Phill is your man. It does
not matter if you are a pro or a novice, you will learn something and
enjoy fishing with Phill. I will definitely go fishing with Phill again.

Stalking Permit Fish

Phil stopped dead in his tracks and pointed. I could make out the dark shape against
the clear breaking wave. A black sickle-shaped fin stuck out of the water.
We had steadily stalked through the warm Caribbean water and I knew we only had
one chance. I tore handfuls of line from the reel and cast out.
The fluorescent fly landed just beyond the Permit fish and as I pulled, it grabbed.

Incredible knowledge of the island

I will go back to Antigua and I will contact Phil again.
He was a great help to me not only in locating the fish but also in tackle and fly
selection. Add to this his
incredible knowledge of the island and the fact that he was pleasant
company both to fish with and to travel with and you can understand why.
